This turned out exactly how I wanted it to be - One chair, three exposures and voila!  The high exposure gave me a perfect look for the subject and the style I was looknig for when I saw the chair sitting across from the glass window.

Learning and experiencing new things always keeps me interested and 'in' the game. :-)

Wedding season comes on during the Summer and Fall and some Spring, and its the same for all I guess. Things are booked, its hard to get places, venues, services, people. Ha. 

​I shot a Pakistani Wedding recently and it was a blast. They last for a few days including different celebrations, or the same huge celebration with different names. We just like to celebrate longer and party longer than the West I suppose. 

This is the Mayon/Mehndi day for the couple. The elders pay tribute and put stuff on their palms, give something sweet to eat, and donate money to the poor as taking the bad omen off of the couple and wish them better happy life after the wedding. So yes, its good to have a smaller family so you dont have to eat that many sweets by each person, but good to have a bigger family coz all the money thats donated gets bigger and a good feel. Here is the mother of the groom is doing all the steps to the happy couple one by one, it goes by quick I swear but its the prime of the Mehndi event. Yellow or Green is the main theme of the day.

So I created this Panorama out of 5 pictures and it looked kinda 'dirty'. Of course, in Nov, the fall season has passed, the leaves have fallen off, the colors are gone, there is no charm. And of course the pictures taken in mid day creates that horrible sun glare which has no fix until eternity. So I had to get creative and make it better, of course.  So this is the before.

And this is what I got after. Isnt that amazing? I was pretty impressed by it. The lake stays the same, I created the shadow so it looks more 'crystal'. I still cant fix the bare trees,  improved the grass, fixed the pavement. I wish I could put  some fall color trees in there but then I didnt want to take the natural location out of it. The clients have some sentimental connection to the location and I didnt want to change it too much to take the emotions away.  They liked it. They said it was unrecognizable. So I think thats a good thing, yet they can tell where they were.

Playing around with a new idea - multiple exposures of kids jumping in the pool. It was cool to play around with the idea. I was looking for an automated process for it but couldnt find anything fruitful. So I started doing it manually and made these with multiple images. The kids loved it and it looks kinda cool. 

Fall is here..

I love the colors of the Fall. There is so many opportunities, wherever you look. The colors blossom up with yellows and oranges, some reds. I give me camera battery a run for the money, the poor thing has to work so hard. :-)

Enjoy the nature colors and be in the spirit of the holidays. Holidays bring joy and happiness to our hearts and love is in the air. Love and cherish your family as they are always going to be there, like it or not. Family is cherishable as long as they are around. No matter what you say, happy or dramatic, they are always going to be there.

The start of a new beginning....
In this new age of technology, don't leave our experience behind.

Recently I did a challenge of seven pictures in seven days with a friend. To be honest, I called it upon myself, on purpose I must say. She tagged a friend in her post and I asked her to pick me for the next day. Given that I indirectly committed myself to it, I finished the objective. Needless to say, it was interesting and exciting to say the least to get into a target after a while. I wanted to supersede each shot better than the day before. And then I thought, its time to enjoy life. Don't stress over it too much. Yes, the quality of my pictures and my posts have to be remarkably (Yes I cant give up that challenge factor....) better but also I want to enjoy life while I make beautiful and better pictures. Thus life is light, short and meant to be enjoyable. So take each day and enjoy it to the full before it gets in the past and the present comes before you.
